I had the opportunity to work with Big Rock Brewery last week, shooting the Eddies Awards. Going into the job, I wasnt really sure what to expect - but the night turned out great and was a lot of fun. Basically, the Eddies is an awards show for the creators of winning Big Rock beer commercials and print advertisements. One commercial in particular really stuck out in my mind as being hilarious, and has apparently been getting tons of acclaim from the industry - check it out:

This is the longest I've gone without a website, if you noticed mattvardy.com has been down for nearly a week causing much anxiety for me and tons of frustration on the part of my registrar. So after all the heartache (and nearly a heart attack) my new website is finally LIVE! As a result of the confusion I've had to switch domains, but luckily to minimize damages my dot com will be forwarded to this site and live again in the next couple days.

Reasons for the change, and some exciting improvements: built-in blog, html-based for maximum visibility across browsers (including mobile devices, iphone, ipad, blackberry etc), online store, and overall ease of navigation.

Really excited to be taking part in the NXNE Music Festival this week. Tonight I'll be shooting at Wrongbar on behalf of SCION Canada. Special presentation featuring: Les Savy Fav, Surfer Blood, Mannequin Men, The Grates and The Meligrove Band. Should be fun!
